Distillery and Netvest Win Gold — Again!

Distillery and Netvest Win Gold – Again!

Distillery is proud to announce that we’ve won gold — again! — for our work on behalf of Netvest. Distillery and Netvest were selected as the Gold Winner in the “Digital — Fintech” category in the 2017 San Francisco Design Awards announced November 10, 2017, for our work on the Netvest app. We’re excited to again win gold for our work on Netvest. This impressive award is the second “gold” we’ve won on behalf of Netvest: in August, we were awarded a Gold Stevie® International Business Award for “Best New Product or Service of the Year — Software — FinTech Solution.” We couldn’t be happier for Netvest, and we’re thrilled to share in the ongoing accolades for their innovative product.

Netvest is a ground-breaking native iOS and Android app that provides its users with unprecedented access to the strategies and portfolios of some of the country’s most successful personal investors. Accessible to both new and seasoned investors, the mobile app’s innovative, time-saving investment platform essentially lets you keep a stable of expert investors in your pocket at all times.

For the Netvest app to be successful, the project team needed to create seamless, polished UX and Ul that effectively addressed a series of complex challenges. The central challenge involved the need to pioneer a format that would make the complex stock market and financial data more easily scanned and digested by users. To address this need, the team developed Netvest’s “Motivation” icons, which condense information about investor strategies into quickly scannable items on the feed.

The San Francisco Design Awards are produced by DRIVENxDESIGN, a global community of more than 75,000 members, 5,000 brands, and 1,500 studios that comes together to “innovate, accelerate, and grow demand for design” and “celebrate the role of design in enriching the human experience.” The annual awards program is judged by a distinguished panel of design professionals from leading studies, industry organizations, and design commissioners.
