At Distillery, our amazing employees are at the center of everything we do — And they deserve to have the spotlight!

In our “Meet Distillery” series, we introduce you to some of the talented experts who help us (and our partners) bring ideas to life.

Today, we’d like to introduce Lela McCrea, Our Sales Superstar!

Lela, Sales Director at Distillery

Tell us a bit about your background and your role at Distillery.

I studied Psychology in school and my career has progressed from marketing and publicity in the media industry into recruiting and business development in the technical staffing world. It then developed into my current role here at Distillery as a Sales Director. My expertise is in being able to listen and understand a client’s needs, then find and deliver an impactful solution.

Given your work experience, what do you think are your biggest strengths that you bring to Distillery?

I live by the idea that where there’s a will there’s a way — I love solving puzzles and am tenacious about finding solutions. I am dedicated, determined, and driven to produce results for my clients with business savvy and compassion.

What attracted you to Distillery?

The people, the leadership, and the ability to make an impact at a rapidly growing international company!

What has been your favorite part about joining the Distillery team?

Far and away, my favorite thing about Distillery is the people! It is so fun and refreshing to work and collaborate with so many talented people around the world.

What’s your secret work-related “pet peeve” that doesn’t really matter but drives you crazy?

I’m a big fan of the oxford comma for no real reason other than it makes me feel more organized.

How many cups of coffee/tea do you drink throughout a normal work day?

Oh yikes… more than I would like to admit! These days I try to keep the number of cups to something I can count on one hand 😉

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

I love spending time exploring and adventuring in the outdoors, crafting, cooking, or anything with a creative outlet!

What is your most-used/favorite emoji?

What’s your favorite movie/TV show?

I’m not sure that I have a favorite, but by far my most watched TV show is The Office.

What is your ideal vacation?

I have always wanted to explore Southeast Asia!

What languages can you speak?

English, a little bit of Spanish, and whatever gibberish is in my head 😆
