Denis: Sales Director, Mexico
Introduce yourself, your background/expertise, and your position at Distillery
I am Denis Briseño, a Sales Professional and marketer, with more than 15 years of developing sales teams and leading companies in many industries to success. I joined Distillery as Director of Sales for the Mexican and Latin American markets.
Given your work experience, what are the biggest strengths that you bring to your role at Distillery?
My main strengths are: creativity, agility, more than 5 years of business development experience in IT, persistence, solid professional business network, and a value-building mindset.
What attracted you to Distillery?
I was attracted by the great growth that Distillery has had in recent years, and above all the good comments I received from friends and colleagues who spoke highly of the company.
What has been your favorite part about being on the Distillery team?
One of the things that I have liked the most about joining Distillery is the excellent work environment and the good vibes that I felt working with my colleagues from the beginning. I also found some friends who were already working at Distillery and it was nice to see and reconnect with them again.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I have some hobbies, such as fishing, landscape and animal photography, and helping people in need when I can.
What are you learning right now?
I am learning more about other technologies that I did not know very well, and about new ways of working in the recruitment process.
What do you wish more people would ask/talk to you about?
I like to talk a lot about new trends in technology and digital business. I like to learn new things every day.
How many cups of coffee/tea do you drink throughout a normal work day?
Normally only one cup, when waking up and starting the day. Where I live there is very good coffee that grows on the slopes of the Colima Volcano.
What’s your favorite movie/TV show? (Or what movie/TV show did you last watch?)
If you could live in any city/place, where would it be?
In the Swiss Alps or in Vancouver, Canada.
If you could have one superpower, what would it be?
The power to fly like Superman!
