Responsibilities

Goals and Objectives Management

  • Conducting and overseeing strategy sessions with the marketing director, sales director, and CEO to define company objectives and setting the company goals and assign tasks to various team members and department heads, designing and implementing a project management strategy
  • Conducting goals breakdown sessions with project/product managers and project teams to supervise the performance and make sub-strategy and sub-goals for each
  • Defining metrics and assigning tasks and KPIs for project teams
  • Setting personal goals and KPIs to project/product managers, supervise the performance and revising them on a regular basis
  • Holding a quarterly business review all-hands meeting – alignment teams and managers with company goals, review results and adjust further plans accordingly

Monitoring Project Management Processes Performance

  • Analyzing reports of teams’ internal dynamics, teams performance metrics, discussing the results with project/product managers and team leaders, revising current processes and tools and making decisions of what should be changed to improve performance metrics, setting goals and roadmap to improve the process, monitoring progress towards goals
  • Analyzing feedback from customers and stakeholders and their CSI (customer satisfaction index). Discuss the results with project teams and make decisions about what should be changed in the pm processes to improve CSI, setting goals to improve it, monitoring progress toward that goal

People Management

  • Analyzing employee satisfaction report, discussing results with the CEO and make decisions of what should be changed in the company’s processes to increase employee satisfaction index
  • Designing, overseeing and running the 360-degree survey, analyzing results and creating personal development plans for project/product managers
  • Holding one-on-one meetings and coaching sessions with project/product managers and team leaders
  • Conducting a performance review for project/product managers and team leaders, nominating for a promotion or firing when needed
  • Interviewing new candidates for project/product manager and team leader positions

Procurement Management

  • Management of actualizing base of current vendors. Overseeing team members searching, interviewing, selecting, contracting new vendors. Making final decisions
  • Holding a vendor’s performance review with project teams, re-design of internal processes and policies of working with vendors

Budgeting

  • Overseeing project management offices budget yearly/quarterly/monthly planning, monitoring and controlling

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field plus 7 years of project management experience 
  • 5 years of experience practicing with agile and lean best practices 
  • 2 years of product management experience
  • 5 years of coaching experience
  • 5 years of experience with training and facilitating
  • 5 years of people management experience 
  • 5 years of experience with change management
