Vice President of Operations and Finance

The Vice President of Operations & Finance is responsible for day-to-day Operational function and financial  oversight. The VP provides the leadership, management, and vision necessary to ensure that Distillery has the proper systems and financial controls, administrative and reporting process and procedures in place to effectively grow the organization and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency. The person will be responsible for the Operational and financial strategy and will also be a key member of the Leadership Team.

Operational Responsibility

  • Lead global operations and execution to meet customer demand at target costs, with exceptional quality.
  • Develop a global operations strategy and organization design for deployment and operation of Distillery’s strategic initiatives.
  • Develop, manage, and revise budget for areas of responsibility in accordance with the company’s operating plan.
  • Ensure alignment of related analytics, processes, activities, decisions, and change. Ensure socialization and documentation. 
  • Demonstrate ability to translate strategy to action.
  • Build operational metrics and reports to steer the business.



  • Partner in formulating the company’s future financial direction and supporting tactical initiatives.
  • Lead long-range planning and annual budgeting & forecast processes.
  • Participate in the development of business strategy, and monitor and direct implementation of strategic business plans.
  • Develop performance measures and monitoring systems that support the company’s strategic direction to ensure success.
  • Develop collaborative and innovative business unit strategies as a part of the broader strategy.
  • Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances.
  • Maximize return on invested capital by driving performance to financial plan for new business initiatives.
  • Report financial status by developing forecasts; reporting results; analyzing variances; developing improvements.

  • Experience and results in a professional services organization focused in technology delivery.
  • 10+ years of work experience in Operations and Finance, PMO, or other similar roles managing complex programs with multiple projects/work streams.
  • Results-driven leader who is fearless about execution, can champion a vision and roadmap, and is not afraid to dig into the details with the front-line team.
  • Experience with multicultural global company, especially within Latin America and Eastern Europe.
  • Proven ability to lead and align an organization with diverse technical disciplines and global reach.
  • Must thrive under pressure and manage multiple projects and priorities in and hands-on manner while being resourceful and innovative at tackling challenges timely.
  • Excellent business judgment and demonstrated proficiency in organizational, analytical, conceptual, and problem solving and executive presentation skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to sift through complicated business issues and communicate only the important aspects in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, flexible and high growth environment.
  • A strong team player who supports their team and embraces ownership, accountability, and responsibility for the team’s work.
  • Excellent communication skills in a wide array of situational settings from C-level interaction to core team members, imparting both vision and execution focus; deep analytical skill set.
