The Sales engineer will operate at the intersection of data architecture, business strategy, and revenue, leading early client conversations, shaping opportunities, influencing deal outcomes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Data Strategy &amp; Client Advisory<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Lead executive-level conversations with clients around data strategy, analytics maturity, and data-driven transformation.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders (CTO, Head of Data, Analytics, Product, Business Leaders).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Diagnose client data challenges, operating models, and organizational readiness.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Define clear data roadmaps aligned to business outcomes.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Commercial Ownership &amp; Opportunity Shaping<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Shape scope, approach, and solution positioning to support revenue growth and delivery success.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Actively drive data-related opportunities from early discovery through deal closure.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Partner with Sales to close complex data engagements.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Influence pricing, team composition, and delivery approach.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Solution Definition &amp; Technical Leadership<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Define high-level data architectures and solution approaches covering ingestion, transformation, analytics, and BI layers.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Data Practice &amp; Capability Building<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Play a leading role in defining Distillery\u2019s data consulting offerings, methodologies, and go-to-market narrative.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Contribute to internal reference architectures, frameworks, and accelerators.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Support development of thought leadership and client-facing data narratives.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Help elevate overall data consulting maturity across the organization.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Partnerships &amp; Ecosystem<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Leverage relationships with cloud, data platform, and analytics partners to strengthen solution credibility and accelerate deal cycles.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Support co-selling, joint solution design, and partner-led initiatives.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Technical background in data engineering, analytics, or data consulting.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Proven track record in client-facing consulting roles with commercial responsibility.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Working knowledge of modern data platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks, or a major hyperscaler)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Experience supporting Sales in shaping and positioning complex data solutions for clients.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Comfortable operating across strategy, sales, and delivery contexts.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Experience in Professional Services or Consulting environments is mandatory.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Exceptional communication and executive presence.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: 20px;
