{"id":247974,"date":"2023-03-23T15:17:02","date_gmt":"2023-03-23T15:17:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/distillery.com\/es-hora-de-acabar-con-la-brecha-de-genero-en-la-industria-tecnologica\/"},"modified":"2023-12-06T00:01:45","modified_gmt":"2023-12-06T00:01:45","slug":"es-hora-de-acabar-con-la-brecha-de-genero-en-la-industria-tecnologica","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/distillery.com\/es\/blog\/es-hora-de-acabar-con-la-brecha-de-genero-en-la-industria-tecnologica\/","title":{"rendered":"Es hora de acabar con la brecha de g\u00e9nero en la industria tecnol\u00f3gica"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A pesar de d\u00e9cadas de progreso hacia la igualdad en el lugar de trabajo, las mujeres siguen estando lamentablemente subrepresentadas en la mano de obra tecnol\u00f3gica mundial. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">infrarrepresentadas en la mano de obra tecnol\u00f3gica mundial. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">S\u00f3lo el 23% de las personas que trabajan en STEM (Ciencia, Tecnolog\u00eda, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(Ciencia, Tecnolog\u00eda, Ingenier\u00eda y Matem\u00e1ticas) en todo el mundo son mujeres, y \u00e9stas s\u00f3lo ocupan el 5% de los puestos directivos en la industria tecnol\u00f3gica.<\/span>  <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A pesar de los a\u00f1os que llevo involucrada en STEM, sigo sin entender por qu\u00e9 faltan mujeres en este sector. Me di cuenta de que hay muchos factores que influyen en las decisiones que toma una mujer a la hora de elegir una carrera.<\/span>  <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-21700 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/distillery.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/Captura-de-pantalla-2023-03-08-a-las-14.17.07.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"545\" height=\"320\">  <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hay algunos factores clave:<\/span><b><\/b> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>No hay suficiente informaci\u00f3n sobre carreras tecnol\u00f3gicas<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>No se les anima a estudiar carreras tecnol\u00f3gicas con la misma frecuencia que a los hombres<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Falta de modelos femeninos en el sector<\/b><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Las mujeres creen que la tecnolog\u00eda est\u00e1 demasiado dominada por los hombres (lo cual es cierto)<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Puedo confirmar que los modelos femeninos desempe\u00f1an un papel realmente importante.<\/span><b> <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">S\u00f3lo el 22% de los j\u00f3venes encuestados puede nombrar a una mujer famosa en el mundo de la tecnolog\u00eda.<\/span>  <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;Hacer saber a las universitarias y colegialas que tienen un futuro en estas industrias es una pieza fundamental&#8221;, afirm\u00f3 Kalinowski en un comunicado.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. &#8220;Y lo que es m\u00e1s importante, si las chicas parecen indecisas a la hora de entrar en un campo STEM, es imperativo que reciban una tutor\u00eda positiva&#8221;.<\/span>  <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No hay duda de que somos minor\u00eda en la industria tecnol\u00f3gica, desde la mano de obra en general hasta los puestos de direcci\u00f3n y liderazgo. Sin embargo, a este ritmo, las mujeres podr\u00edan tardar m\u00e1s de 10 a\u00f1os en conseguir una representaci\u00f3n igualitaria en la tecnolog\u00eda.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Y no es todo, como parte de la industria, tengo que aceptar que es una realidad la disparidad salarial de g\u00e9nero entre los trabajadores tecnol\u00f3gicos. S\u00f3lo por mencionarlo.<\/span>  <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En 2017 y 2018, las empresas descubrieron que a los hombres se les ofrec\u00edan salarios m\u00e1s altos que a las mujeres el 63% de las veces. En 2019, la brecha se redujo un poco hasta el 60%, pero volvi\u00f3 al 63% en 2020.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> <\/span><b> <\/b><b>Conclusi\u00f3n:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No todo est\u00e1 perdido, como apasionada de mi carrera estoy bastante segura de que esta brecha de g\u00e9nero podr\u00eda reducirse si y s\u00f3lo si somos conscientes del problema y trabajamos en equipo.
