About the Position

As a Technical Business Analyst, you will work on innovative technologies to meet our customers’ needs and enhance their business interactions with us. You will be part of a collaborative team focused on solving a diverse range of complex challenges across multiple, technically intricate, large-scale projects.
 

Responsibilities

  • Document functional requirements with business stakeholders.

  • Develop user stories and define acceptance criteria; validate these artifacts with business stakeholders.

  • Create and assist with design and documentation of existing and new applications.

  • Understand, review, analyze, and evaluate business needs.

  • Ensure that documentation accurately reflects the functionality delivered.

  • Help the QA Team to develop functional test scripts and conduct regular functional and regression testing.

  • Facilitate User Acceptance Testing with support from scrum team members.

  • Actively participate as a member of the scrum team, serving as a liaison between business and technical teams.

  • Coordinate and collaborate across business and technology functions to ensure comprehensive solutions are delivered.

 

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success as a technical analyst in a fast-paced commercial or consulting environment.

  • Experience documenting complex technical systems and procedures.

  • Familiarity with development methodologies and basic IT skills.

  • Understanding of web application development and the ability to logically articulate and document data storage in technical systems (field types, metadata purposes, etc.).

  • Strong communication and technical skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Responsible, dependable, and a quick learner.

  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technology.

  • Able to work in a team environment and meaningfully contribute to strategic discussions.

  • Strong professional communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Highly organized with attention to detail and excellent follow-through skills.

  • Proactive, self-motivated, with a high level of ownership and drive to achieve goals.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).

  • Proficient in the Atlassian suite of tools (Jira and Confluence).

 

Nice to Have

  • Ability to create visual representations of data structures, business processes, and user interfaces.

  • Demonstrated ability to work within Scrum teams and to gather and document requirements integrated into sprint timelines.

  • Experience in facilitating virtual activities to gather business and technical requirements from stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in creating and managing tickets in Jira.
