About the Position
As a Lead Data Analyst, you will play a central role in shaping data-driven strategies that elevate our members' experiences and support business growth on our e-commerce subscription platform. Your analytical insights will inform product decisions and enhance efficiencies across teams, including Marketing, Product, Merchandising, Engineering, and Finance. Using advanced analytics and statistical techniques, you will support personalization, acquisition, retention, and growth strategies, ultimately driving impactful decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction through data insights to drive business initiatives, uncover growth opportunities, and address challenges. Collaborate with leadership to ensure alignment between data initiatives and business goals.
- Use advanced methods like hypothesis testing, A/B testing, regression analysis, and forecasting to guide product and marketing strategies.
- Apply e-commerce expertise to generate insights that improve customer acquisition, retention, and user experience within a subscription-based business model.
- Build and enhance dashboards, reports, and ad hoc analyses in Tableau and Snowflake, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- Partner closely with teams from Engineering, Marketing, and Product to influence strategies and ensure successful execution. Foster alignment between data efforts and business needs.
- Mentor a team of analysts, promoting a data-centric culture. Guide junior analysts in best practices and technical skills to boost the team’s overall impact.
- Translate complex data into compelling narratives. Present insights to stakeholders across levels, offering actionable recommendations aligned with business objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics or related fields, including 2+ years providing technical support and team guidance.
- Demonstrated experience in e-commerce, especially within subscription models.
- Proficiency in advanced analytics, statistical methods, and tools like Tableau, Snowflake, SQL, Python, or R.
- Excellent communication skills, adept at conveying both technical details and overarching business strategies.
Nice to Have:
- Hands-on experience with machine learning, A/B testing, and experimental design.
- In-depth knowledge of e-commerce KPIs, personalization methods, and subscription business models.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels.
