In this role, you will contribute to building high-quality, user-facing features for web applications that are fast, responsive, and provide an excellent user experience. You’ll work alongside a talented team of engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver innovative solutions that meet business goals.
You will have the opportunity to leverage your expertise in JavaScript, React, and TypeScript to shape the frontend architecture, while also mentoring junior engineers and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. If you are passionate about writing clean, performant code and contributing to cutting-edge web applications, this is the role for you.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain user-facing features with clean, reusable, and maintainable code.

  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure pixel-perfect UI and a smooth, intuitive user experience.

  • Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.

  • Optimize for speed, scalability, and performance across web applications.

  • Review code and provide technical feedback to team members, ensuring best practices are followed.

  • Mentor and coach less experienced engineers, helping to elevate their skills and contributions.

  • Define and enforce standards and best practices for testing, software delivery, observability, and frontend architecture.

  • Participate in critical team meetings including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

  • Write technical documentation to ensure knowledge is shared and development processes are well-documented.

  • Implement improvements to development processes to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.

  • Debug and resolve issues in production to maintain application stability and reliability.

  • Advocate for new technologies and design patterns where they can help improve the product and the development process.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, backend engineers, product managers) to deliver high-quality user experiences aligned with business goals.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in frontend development and explore new technologies to keep our solutions innovative and cutting-edge.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development with a strong focus on building dynamic and responsive web applications.

  • Expert understanding of the JavaScript ecosystem, specifically with testing frameworks, React, and TypeScript.

  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and a proven track record of implementing responsive, user-friendly designs.

  • Demonstrated experience in improving web application performance, optimizing load times, and enhancing rendering performance.

  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with experience working in an Agile environment.

  • Bonus points: Familiarity with tools such as DataDog, server-side rendered applications, monorepos, and experience in contributing to or maintaining a design system.
