About the position

Distillery is seeking a highly experienced Vice President of Solutions Delivery to lead and define our technology strategy and execution across the Data, Web, Mobile, Product Delivery Management (PDM), DevOps, and QA departments. This senior leadership role will guide and mentor cross-functional delivery teams, ensuring technical excellence, innovation, and alignment with the company's strategic goals.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of progressive leadership experience managing delivery teams across multiple domains, with a proven ability to scale operations, implement strategic initiatives, and foster collaboration across diverse technical teams. This role also requires a strong partnership with sales and demand generation teams to translate technical capabilities into client-focused solutions, driving business growth.
 

Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy

  • Oversee the Data Engineering, Web, Mobile, PDM, DevOps, and QA departments, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and a seamless delivery of client projects.

  • Provide visionary leadership and define a forward-thinking technology strategy to position Distillery as a leader in the software services industry.

  • Lead and mentor senior leaders and managers within these departments, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration.

  • Align technical strategy with business objectives, ensuring measurable outcomes in delivery excellence and client satisfaction.

Technology & Sales Partnership

  • Collaborate closely with sales and demand generation teams to develop compelling technical proposals, presentations, and RFP responses that showcase Distillery’s capabilities.

  • Play a pivotal role in client engagements by translating technical complexities into tailored, value-driven solutions.

  • Provide thought leadership to support client acquisition and retention efforts, positioning Distillery as a trusted partner.

  • Monitor industry trends and competitor landscapes to identify opportunities for technology differentiation and customer acquisition.

  • Collaborate with sales teams to qualify leads, address technical concerns, and close deals by showcasing the value proposition of our software services.

Execution Excellence

  • Develop and implement robust delivery frameworks and agile methodologies to optimize project timelines, resource utilization, and client outcomes.

  • Maintain a hands-on approach to solving complex technical challenges, providing guidance to teams when needed to ensure successful project execution.

  • Establish metrics to measure and continuously improve performance, delivery efficiency, and client satisfaction.

Innovation & Industry Leadership

  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and market trends, driving innovation to enhance Distillery’s offerings and market position.

  • Represent Distillery at industry events, conferences, and forums as a speaker or thought leader, strengthening the company’s brand and expertise.

Data-Driven Operations

  • Leverage analytics and data to optimize operations, support strategic decision-making, and provide actionable insights across all delivery departments.

  • Champion the use of data to improve service quality, team productivity, and overall business outcomes.

Partnership Development

  • Build and nurture partnerships with technology providers, industry leaders, and key stakeholders to expand Distillery’s technical capabilities and influence.

 

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in technology-focused roles, with hands-on management of cross-functional delivery teams.

  • Demonstrated success in partnering with sales teams to develop technical solutions and win client engagements.

  • Strong experience guiding diverse teams and fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of technology strategy, architecture, agile methodologies, software development lifecycles, and DevOps practices.

  • Ability to use analytics to drive strategy, improve processes, and achieve measurable outcomes.

  • Exceptional ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders, including clients and executives.

  • Proven expertise in solving complex challenges and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Experience speaking at industry events and contributing thought leadership to advance the company’s visibility and reputation.
