Senior Data Analyst for Working Capital Analytics – Data Analyst
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to drive the optimization of our data request and
standardization processes. The ideal candidate will focus on simplifying data acquisition, defining
minimum viable datasets, and ensuring consistency through data normalization. This role is critical to
delivering clean, usable data to the product and consultants for real-time decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Request Process:
o Redesign and streamline the data request process to ensure minimal but complete
datasets.
o Collaborate with stakeholders to identify key data attributes required for analysis.
2. Data Normalization and Validation:
o Clean, transform, and standardize ERP data (SAP, JD Edwards) for ingestion.
o Develop consistent processes to eliminate nulls, inaccuracies, and outliers.
3. ETL and Data Pipeline Support:
o Define and document Core Data Requests for reusable ingestion pipelines.
o Work alongside engineers to ensure clean data flows from extraction to visualization.
4. Collaboration:
o Partner with the Product Manager to align data structure with business goals.
o Support engineers and scientists by validating normalized datasets.
5. Documentation:
o Maintain detailed documentation of data processes, templates, and request standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
5-7 years in data analysis, with a focus on ETL and data normalization.
Strong experience with SQL for data querying and transformation.
Proficient in data wrangling and cleaning processes.
Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, JD Edwards) and understanding data
attributes.
Ability to design and document scalable data request templates.
Familiarity with Excel for initial data extraction/cleaning.
Strong analytical and communication skills to liaise with technical and business teams.
Nice-to-Have:
Exposure to Palantir Foundry or similar big data platforms.
Experience with Power BI (ability to validate clean data for visualizations).
