About the Position

The Sales Director is a key revenue driver at Distillery, responsible for sourcing, cultivating, and closing new business opportunities. Reporting to the VP of Sales, you will take ownership of revenue generation by developing opportunities, managing the sales pipeline, creating and executing account strategies, and closing enterprise-level deals. You’ll also play a critical role in fostering long-term, trust-based partnerships by delivering exceptional customer service and driving client growth and expansion.


Responsibilities

  • Identify, engage, and close new business opportunities for Distillery’s services.
  • Own the entire sales cycle—from prospecting to close—while building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Uncover client needs and position Distillery’s unique value proposition to address them.
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers, including C-suite executives, VPs, and Directors.
  • Present compelling solutions and negotiate contract terms, ensuring alignment with client goals.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers, Recruiters, and Delivery Leaders to drive client success.
  • Participate in sales meetings, quarterly business reviews, and strategic GTM planning.
  • Accurately forecast revenue and track pipeline activities in Salesforce.
  • Develop and execute MSAs and Statements of Work in partnership with contract management.
  • Commit to continuous learning, coaching, and improvement in sales performance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software development or consulting sales.
  • Proven success in managing multiple complex clients and projects.
  • Experience selling nearshore resources is a plus.
  • Strong outbound prospecting skills, with a track record of proactively engaging leads.
  • Goal-oriented and skilled in networking and influencing decision-makers.
  • Ability to own the full sales cycle from lead generation to close.
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) required.
