About the Position

Distillery is seeking for an experienced WordPress / Drupal Developer to support multiple web development projects, including a WordPress redesign, API integrations, and a Drupal upgrade. This role involves both immediate project needs and long-term development opportunities, making it an exciting opportunity for a skilled developer looking to work on diverse projects.


Responsibilities

  • WordPress Redesign & Site Refresh:
    • Implement updates based on provided mock-ups.
    • Work with Elementor to enhance design and functionality.
  • API Integration:
    • Integrate three 3rd-party APIs into the WordPress backend dashboard.
    • Handle form integration, Google Analytics setup, and other minor customizations.
  • Drupal Upgrade: Rebuild an existing Drupal 7 website, upgrading it to Drupal 10 or 11.
  • LMS Integration: Connect an LMS system with Drupal via a 3rd-party API for data synchronization.
  • E-commerce Optimization: Improve the performance and integration of e-commerce functionalities.
  • WordPress & Drupal Maintenance: Ongoing updates, security enhancements, and additional system integrations.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in WordPress & Drupal development, including custom themes, plugins, and module development.
  • Experience working with AWS Elastic Beanstalk.
  • Comfortable using Atlassian Jira for project tracking.
  • Strong knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
  • Experience with API integrations and working with 3rd-party documentation.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and form integrations.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and optimize site performance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or within a team.

Nice To Have

  • Experience with Drupal 10+ development and migration from Drupal 7.
  • Familiarity with LMS integrations.
  • Background in e-commerce site optimization.
