About the Position

Distillery is seeking an experienced and energetic Front-end Developer to join our growing development lab. Our team is focused on using the latest technologies and innovative thinking to create modern, user-friendly web-based tools. These tools empower our consultants to drive impactful business initiatives and deliver sustainable value creation to our clients. Responsibilities

  • Develop scalable web applications using VueJS, HTML, CSS/SCSS, and JavaScript.
  • Ensure high-quality user-centric designs and seamless user experiences.
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex front-end issues effectively.
  • Establish and promote development best practices, technology policies, and standards.
  • Contribute to thought leadership material around all aspects of front-end development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate front-end solutions with backend services.
  • Stay up to date with the latest front-end technologies and frameworks.

Requirements

  • Expert-level knowledge with one or more front-end JavaScript frameworks – VueJS, preferred.
  • Expert-level knowledge of CSS/SCSS using the Bootstrap framework.
  • Strong understanding of modern web protocols (HTTP) and concepts (REST, API, etc.).
  • Solid grasp of design patterns and best practices.
  • Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
  • Familiarity with and commitment to the client’s Core Values and an inclusive work environment.
  • Experience with NPM, Webpack, Git, and Chrome Dev Tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (SCRUM).


Nice to Have

  • Experience with D3 visualization or other SVG/Canvas-based charting libraries.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools.
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics.
  • Understanding of UI/UX best practices.
