About the Position                        

We are seeking an experienced Azure Principal Architect to lead our cloud transformation and adoption initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Microsoft Azure technologies, architecture design, and cloud migration strategies. As an Azure Principal Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-based solutions that align with the organization's strategic objectives. You will also be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams, providing guidance on best practices, and mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities                        

  • Design and implement innovative, secure, and scalable cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure services and technologies.
  • Develop and maintain the overall cloud architecture, ensuring alignment with the organization's business requirements, technology strategy, and security policies.                        
  • Lead cloud migration and adoption initiatives, identifying the most suitable cloud services and migration strategies.                        
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, infrastructure, security, and operations, to ensure successful implementation of cloud-based solutions.                        
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on Azure best practices, design patterns, and architectural principles.
  • Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and industry trends to identify potential areas for improvement or optimization.
  • Mentor and support junior team members in their understanding and adoption of Azure technologies and cloud architecture principles.                        
  • Develop and maintain documentation for cloud architecture, design decisions, and implemented solutions.                        
  • Work closely with stakeholders to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with cloud adoption and migration.                        
  • Hands on experience in Azure DevOps, Azure App Services and Microsoft.Net C#

Requirements                        

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.                        
  • 10+ years of experience in IT, with a minimum of 5 years focused on cloud architecture and design.                        
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and technologies, including but not limited to, VMs, App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Active Directory, and Azure DevOps.                        
  • Familiarity with cloud-native application development, containerization, and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.                        
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools, such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Terraform, or Pulumi.                        
  • Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.                        
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.                        
  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert certification is a plus
