About the Position
The Sales Director is the face of Distillery, with a focus on sourcing, cultivating and closing new business for Distillery. Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will take ownership of revenue generation, developing opportunities, managing sales pipeline, creating and executing on account strategies, closing enterprise-level deals and managing client growth and expansion. You will be responsible for the ongoing identification, development, and assessment of client opportunities in your market and developing long term, trust-based partnerships by providing unparalleled customer service for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Successfully present, promote, and sell Distillery’s services to prospective customers
- Focus on prospecting through closing while developing new relationships
- Help potential clients discover unmet needs and explore how Distillery can deliver extraordinary value
- Identify decision-makers and build relationships within targeted leads in order to initiate and move along the sales process
- Provide compelling value propositions and real-time solutioning, in-person and via phone, emphasizing service differentiators, discussing contract terms and preparing proposals
- Successfully position Distillery’s services to senior CXO executives, VPs and Director-level buyers and entrepreneurs
- Collaborate with Account Managers, Recruiters, and Delivery leaders to manage account success plans
- Participate in sales meetings, quarterly business reviews, and create/revise go-to-market plans as required
- Provide accurate and on-time forecast reporting; produce monthly forecasts on pipeline activities, and track against both monthly and annual goals
- Manage activity and pipeline in Salesforce to exceed your goals
- Partner with contract management to develop and execute MSAs and Statements of Work
- Maintain a commitment to continuous improvement, with active participation in sales coaching
- Meet or exceed yearly new business revenue objectives
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of success selling in the software development or consulting services industries
- Experience selling nearshore resources is a plus
- Proven track record of managing multiple complex clients and projects
- Strong experience leading outbound prospecting
- Goal-oriented, driven, and experienced in networking with and influencing decision-makers
- Proven ability to own the sales cycle from lead generation to closure
- Desire to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Demonstrated analytical and strategic skills with the ability to creatively problem-solve
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all stakeholders, including senior leaders
- Strong negotiation, time management and presentation skills
- BA/BS degree required
