Distillery is looking for highly qualified Sales Directors located in major metropolitan areas across the U.S., including but not limited to the Bay Area, Midwest, South, and Southeast.

DESCRIPTION

The Sales Director is the face of Distillery, with a focus on a specific list of strategic clients. As a Sales Director, you will take ownership of revenue generation, develop new opportunities, manage your sales pipeline, create and execute account strategies, close enterprise-level deals and manage client expansion. You will be responsible for the ongoing identification, development, and assessment of opportunities in your market. As a Sales Director you are responsible for developing long term, valued trust-based partnerships with our clients, unparalleled client service, and a solutions mindset.

Candidates for this opportunity must have a strong background in sales within the technology services industry, consulting, or IT Staffing . The candidate will need to understand the nuances associated with the latest web and mobile software platforms, architectures and digital technologies, along with how they align with Distillery’s capabilities to deliver strategic solutions to our clients. The Sales Director is responsible for moving deals through every stage of the pipeline while developing client relationships and driving continued growth.

Reports to the Vice President of Sales.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Target and build honest relationships and genuine rapport with potential clients
  • Help potential clients discover unmet needs and explore how Distillery can deliver extraordinary value
  • Successfully sell digital solutions and services via a solution-selling or consultative-selling approach
  • Plan approaches, presentation materials, and proposals that speak to the client’s needs and objectives and effectively communicate Distillery’s solutions
  • Collaborate with Delivery Teams to create compelling and goal-driven solutions
  • Develop deep knowledge and communicate expertise about Distillery’s services and go-to-market strategies
  • Openness and ability to swiftly adapt and pivot in an ever-evolving ecosystem
  • Collaborate with key partners to effectively position Distillery’s services and drive an increased number of opportunities from the channel
  • Successfully position Distillery and its services to senior executives, VPs and Director-level buyers, and entrepreneurs, building their confidence in Distillery’s solutions and our ability to deliver excellence
  • Stay on top of the market and competitors to identify and help develop Distillery’s selling propositions and differentiators
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales and activity goals
  • Log and maintain all activity in CRM

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of experience successfully selling IT Staffing, digital solutions, software and/or services via a solution-selling or consultative-selling approach
  • A proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue objectives in a complex solutions environment
  • Knowledge of/experience with structured sales methodologies, e.g., Strategic Selling, Solution Selling, SPIN, Power-based Selling, Target Account Selling
  • Solid network and knowledge of the market within their metro area
  • Strong knowledge of or experience in software or consulting services
  • Knowledge of technical platforms, business models, subject matter, and trends
  • Strong problem-solver and creative thinker with gravitas
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication, and seasoned presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
