About the position

Distillery is seeking an experienced Scrum Master with a strong Business Analyst orientation to support and lead several active and upcoming projects across the Digital Business Applications (DBA) team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about agile delivery, cross-functional collaboration, and driving continuous improvement across distributed teams. The working environment includes tools such as AWS Elastic Beanstalk and Atlassian Jira. The ideal candidate will combine a strong understanding of agile methodologies with a structured, analytical approach to managing requirements, timelines, and delivery—ensuring that all project goals are met with clarity and efficiency.


Responsibilities

  • Act as Scrum Master for the DBA (Digital Business Applications) team, guiding agile processes and ensuring delivery.
  • Support and manage the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Oversee project scope, timelines, and ensure effective communication across clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Anticipate and mitigate project risks; resolve issues proactively as they arise.
  • Work closely with the Product Owner to define product requirements and user stories/use cases.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies and maintain efficient, transparent project tracking using tools like Jira.
  • Ensure that project deliverables meet the required quality standards and client expectations.
  • Coordinate distributed or in-house development teams.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in roles such as Delivery Manager, Project Manager, or Business Analyst.
  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Proven experience working with distributed teams and international clients.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Fluent spoken and written English.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
  • Proactive attitude and eagerness to grow professionally.


Nice to Have

  • Background in software engineering or technical domains.
  • Experience in product ownership or business analysis.
  • Familiarity with outsourcing development environments and client engagement models.
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies, WordPress, and cloud platforms like AWS.
  • Experience with API documentation and integrations.
