About the Position
We are looking for a Accountant to join our team . This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate payroll processing, accounting records, tax compliance, and financial reporting, while also contributing to budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support management decision-making.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, multinational environment.
Responsibilities
- Monthly payment of the payroll.
- Calculation and payment of social benefits, both partial and definitive.
- Calculation of all work and tax obligations associated with payroll, social security, tax withheld at source, voluntary contributions, and garnishments.
- Provision of accounting software for the registration and process of the payroll.
- Monthly elaboration and filing of the payroll and social security forms before all responsible entities for the payment of the company´s labor obligations.
- Liquidation of social obligations.
- Calculation of each employee´s tax withheld at source.
- Processing of all accounting records.
- Preparation of the fiscal reconciliation book and financial statements.
- Processing of invoices.
- Preparation, processing and presentation of all monthly and annual tax returns and generation of receipts.
- Input of payments to online-banking platforms.
- Participation in closing of books (monthly, quarterly, annual).
- Reconciliation of account balances.
- Maintenance of a Fixed asset register.
- Analysis of BS&PL variance monthly.
- Participation in tax audits and audits if needed.
- Participation in regular improvement process activities with other teams, active analysis of areas of improvement and testing of new improvements
- Performing other tasks received from the management and ad-hoc reports by request
FP&A:
- Assistance with financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities, including budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Support in the preparation and maintenance of financial models for business planning, scenario analysis, and management decision-making.
- Analysis of actual vs. budget/forecast results and preparation of variance explanations.
- Support management with ad-hoc financial analysis, reports, and dashboards.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and improve financial performance visibility.
Requirements
- Higher education in Accounting field
- Min. 3-5 years of relevant professional experience
- Fluent English
- Advanced Excel, Google documents knowledge
- Attention to the details
- "Can do” attitude
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Adequate quality of work, even under higher loads
- Ability to meet with the deadlines
- Experience in IT and multinational companies is highly desirable.
