About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Platform Engineer to design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available platform solutions that meet the evolving needs of the business. In this role, you will work as part of an Agile development team, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to drive technical innovation and deliver high-quality solutions that support business success.

You will work with a variety of technologies—including cloud-native platforms, microservices architectures, and databases—to build robust and efficient systems. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the organization’s technology platform and contribute to the growth and success of the business.


Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available platform solutions.
  • Build and maintain APIs, microservices, and application platforms that support business operations.
  • Develop and execute cloud migration strategies, including architecture design, deployment, and automation.
  • Implement monitoring, observability, and security solutions to ensure system reliability and compliance.
  • Write high-quality, well-tested code following test-driven development (TDD) practices.
  • Commit to test-driven development and deliver high-quality, well-tested code.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, resolve defects, and enhance system design to prevent recurring problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including engineers, product managers, and stakeholders—to deliver technical solutions.
  • Translate project requirements into technical implementations and communicate progress with stakeholders.
  • Contribute to release management and deployment processes within a scaled Agile (Scrum) environment.
  • Deliver scalable, high-performance systems capable of supporting global, highly available applications.


Requirements

  • Expertise in APIs, Microservices, Application Platforms, Database Management, and Project/Release Management.
  • Deep understanding of DevOps and DevSecOps practices.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js for frontend and backend services.
  • Experience working in Agile environments using Scrum.
  • At least 5+ years of coding experience with JavaScript, HTML, or CSS.
  • 5+ years of experience working with cloud technologies.
  • Experience implementing monitoring and security solutions.
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field, or 5–10 years of relevant professional experience.


Nice To Have

  • Experience architecting solutions using Node.js server frameworks such as Hapi or Express.
  • Experience designing enterprise search solutions using Elastic, MongoDB FTS, or similar technologies.
  • Proficiency with technologies including:
    • GitHub
    • React
    • Azure SQL
    • MongoDB
    • Docker
    • Kubernetes
    • Testing frameworks
  • Experience building highly scalable and globally distributed systems.
  • Experience delivering high-impact, high-performance user experiences.
