About the Position

We are seeking a highly analytical and business-oriented Senior Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will partner closely with Product, Marketing, Merchandising, and Engineering teams to drive data-informed decision-making across a subscription-based e-commerce platform. The ideal candidate combines strong expertise in business intelligence, advanced analytics, and experimentation with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights that improve customer acquisition, retention, personalization, and overall business performance.


Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions using Tableau and Snowflake.
  • Monitor key business metrics and identify trends, opportunities, and risks that support strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct advanced statistical analyses, including hypothesis testing, forecasting, regression modeling, and A/B testing.
  • Evaluate business initiatives and measure their impact through data-driven methodologies.
  • Develop and maintain automation solutions using SQL and Python.
  • Build and optimize data workflows and pipelines using Airflow and dbt.
  • Implement monitoring systems to ensure data quality and proactively identify issues.
  • Analyze customer lifecycle metrics, including acquisition, retention, churn, and lifetime value.
  • Generate insights that improve subscription growth, customer engagement, and personalization strategies.
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Merchandising, and Engineering teams to translate business needs into analytical solutions.
  • Participate in roadmap planning and strategic decision-making processes.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members when needed.
  • Present analytical findings and recommendations to stakeholders across the organization.
  • Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making through effective communication and storytelling.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • 4+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or related disciplines.
  • 2+ years of experience providing technical guidance, mentorship, or leadership within analytics teams.
  • Demonstrated experience working in e-commerce environments, preferably within subscription-based business models.
  • Advanced proficiency with SQL.
  • Strong experience with Python (or R).
  • Hands-on experience with Tableau and Snowflake.
  • Strong understanding of statistical analysis, experimentation methodologies, and predictive analytics.
  • Experience creating reporting solutions, dashboards, and business intelligence frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with machine learning techniques and predictive modeling.
  • Deep understanding of A/B testing methodologies and experimental design.
  • Knowledge of personalization frameworks and recommendation systems.
  • Experience with Airflow and dbt for data pipeline orchestration and transformation.
  • Strong familiarity with e-commerce KPIs, customer behavior analytics, and subscription business metrics.
  • Experience supporting customer experience optimization and revenue growth initiatives.
