About the Position

We are seeking a client-focused Project Manager to join our team supporting Specialized Finance services. In this role, you will own the client relationship across the full delivery lifecycle while leading cloud migrations, software upgrades, and implementations, working hand in hand with the Product organization to secure commitments through standard, product-led solutions. The ideal candidate is a trusted client partner who communicates with transparency, keeps stakeholders aligned under pressure, and drives delivery to completion while protecting the long-term health of the relationship.


Responsibilities

  • Own the client relationship across the full delivery lifecycle, from initial engagement through go-live and into steady state, protecting client trust even when delivery becomes challenging.
  • Lead and deliver technology projects, including cloud migrations, software upgrades, and implementations.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Work directly with clients to scope, plan, and deliver solutions that meet their business needs, acting as the first point of contact when issues arise.
  • Manage risks, budget, scope, and timelines with full accountability for project outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with the Product organization to secure delivery through standard, product-led solutions.
  • Balance clients' immediate requests against the long-term health of the relationship and the product roadmap.
  • Lead joint steering committees, ensuring alignment and effective decision-making at senior client levels.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the team's project management practices and competencies.
  • Support the pre-sales process as needed, including RFIs/RFPs, proposals, and Statements of Work (SoWs).

Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven experience in project management and delivery within the IT sector.
  • Experience delivering external client projects in a supplier/vendor environment.
  • Demonstrated experience owning client relationships through complex deliveries, keeping the relationship on track when projects face setbacks.
  • Strong stakeholder and executive-level communication skills, particularly in escalations and difficult conversations.
  • Knowledge of cloud migrations, software upgrades, and implementations.
  • Proficiency in escalation management and effectively resolving delivery challenges.
  • Experience working with different project methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile.
  • Ability to travel and work on-site at customer locations when required (key moments of the project).

Nice to Have

  • Project management certification, such as PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner.
  • Experience in financial services or regulated environments.
