About the Position

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer (AWS) to join one of our fast-paced startup clients. This is an exciting opportunity to take full ownership of DevOps infrastructure in a growing environment. If you've built DevOps practices from the ground up and thrive in startup ecosystems, this role is for you. You'll help shape infrastructure across a multi-cloud environment, driving scalability, automation, and performance at every level.


Responsibilities

  • Design and implement secure, scalable DevOps infrastructure using AWS and other cloud providers.
  • Build CI/CD pipelines to support high-velocity development and deployment.
  • Define and manage infrastructure using Terraform.
  • Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters in multi-cloud environments.
  • Establish monitoring and alerting systems to ensure system reliability and visibility.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps best practices into the SDLC.
  • Document systems, processes, and infrastructure to support long-term scalability.


Requirements

  • Proven experience building DevOps from 0 to 1, ideally in a startup or early-stage environment.
  • Strong expertise with AWS and experience working with at least one other cloud provider (e.g., GCP or Azure).
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform and Kubernetes in production environments.
  • Solid knowledge of monitoring, observability, and incident response tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
  • Proficient in scripting languages like Bash or Python.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a self-starter attitude.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.


Nice To Have

  • Experience with Bazel.
  • Experience with GitOps tools (e.g., ArgoCD, Flux).
  • Familiarity with security and compliance best practices for cloud infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd).
  • Previous experience scaling infrastructure for high-growth products.
