About the Position

Distillery is seeking a seasoned QA Engineer to join our client’s dynamic team in the Insurance industry. In this role, you will be responsible for leading manual dtesting efforts for web and mobile applications, ensuring quality across functional and non-functional areas. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, define QA strategies, and help build robust processes aligned with project goals.

Responsibilities

  • Perform both functional and non-functional testing on web and mobile applications.
  • Analyze requirements, mock-ups, and documentation to create test plans.
  • Build and maintain the QA process in alignment with project objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to verify new features and improve existing ones.
  • Create and maintain test documentation, including test cases, checklists, and test plans.
  • Execute and report on test results, identifying and communicating bugs and risks.
  • Adapt between manual and automated testing based on project needs.
  • Contribute to delivering high-quality products in a fast-paced development environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and tools, including both manual and automated testing.
  • Hands-on experience analyzing requirements and developing test cases.
  • Previous experience in the Insurance domain is required.
  • Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Tricentis, Git, Bitbucket, or similar.
  • Coding experience using automation frameworks like Selenium, Cucumber, Cypress, etc.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and communicate risks clearly.
  • Comfortable working in cross-functional, agile teams.
