About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Infrastructure Engineer with deep expertise in AWS and a passion for building robust, scalable systems. In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the core infrastructure that powers our mobile games, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability, performance, and security.

This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who thrives in large-scale production environments, communicates effectively, and demonstrates ownership over infrastructure systems that impact millions of users.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage highly scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure on AWS.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver infrastructure solutions tailored to their needs.
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues in distributed systems.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
  • Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence in infrastructure practices.
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of technical quality and innovation.
  • Communicate infrastructure plans, incidents, and updates effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in infrastructure engineering within large-scale production environments.
  • Deep knowledge of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, EKS, Lambda, VPC, CloudFront, Route 53).
  • Strong expertise in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
  • Solid understanding of networking, systems internals, and cloud security best practices.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the gaming industry.
  • Familiarity with other cloud platforms (Google Cloud, Azure).
  • Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database systems.
  • Contributions to open-source projects.
