About the Position
We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst with a strong background in both finance and IT to help bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, experienced with financial data, and skilled at building robust reporting solutions using modern BI and automation tools.
In this role, you will work with Power BI, Python, and SQL to migrate, rebuild, and validate dashboards, while also developing new reporting and analytics assets. You will collaborate closely with finance, operations, and IT teams to ensure data accuracy, optimize reporting flows, and deliver insights that directly support business decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Design, migrate, and maintain Power BI / Tableau dashboards for financial and operational reporting.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate business-critical data.
- Use Python to automate data processes and develop scalable analytics workflows.
- Integrate data from multiple ERP and business systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, NetSuite) into centralized reporting solutions.
- Partner with finance and business stakeholders to define KPIs, metrics, and reporting requirements.
- Conduct data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams to optimize data flows and reporting infrastructure.
- Prepare clear documentation and provide ongoing support for reporting and analytics solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, BI, or analytics engineering roles.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI / Tableau / Looker, including DAX, data modeling, and advanced dashboard development.
- Advanced SQL expertise for data extraction, transformation, and validation.
- Proficiency in Python for automation, analytics, and workflow development.
- Experience working with financial or operational datasets.
- Solid understanding of finance and accounting concepts (e.g., P&L, forecasting, variance analysis).
- Proven ability to manage analytics projects end-to-end, from raw data to final dashboards.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate data into business insights.
Nice To Have
- Experience with modern data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery) and ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Consulting or client-facing experience is a strong plus.
