About the Position
We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst / BI Engineer who can work across the entire data lifecycle from raw data ingestion and transformation through to BI dashboards and insights. The ideal candidate has experience in finance or ERP driven environments, strong technical expertise in Python, SQL, and Power BI, and the ability to collaborate across business and IT teams. This role is suited for someone with broad exposure to different industries and technologies, along with depth in key areas such as data modeling, dashboard design, or pipeline automation.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full data pipeline: ingestion, cleaning, modeling, visualization, and reporting.
- Design and maintain Power BI dashboards for financial and operational stakeholders.
- Build and optimize SQL queries and data models to support analytics.
- Use Python for automation, data transformation, and advanced analytics.
- Integrate with ERP and business systems to deliver reliable reporting solutions.
- Validate data accuracy and ensure consistency across reporting layers.
- Partner with finance, business, and IT teams to define KPIs and deliver actionable insights.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, BI, or analytics engineering.
- Strong Power BI expertise (data modeling, DAX, advanced reporting).
- Proficiency in SQL (Snowflake, MySQL, SQL Server, or similar).
- Hands-on experience with Python for automation and analysis.
- Experience integrating data from ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, NetSuite).
- Proven ability to manage end-to-end workflows from raw data to dashboards.
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with both technical and business teams.
Nice To Have
- Background in finance or accounting (P&L, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis).
- Experience with data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
- Exposure to cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Ability to define KPIs and apply data storytelling in visualizations.
