About the Position

We are looking for a Senior Back-End Engineer (AWS / Node.js) to join a multidisciplinary team working on a suite of high-impact, cloud-based products. You’ll contribute to the design and development of scalable backend solutions powering multiple applications and services in the content distribution, automation, and analytics space. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to build robust APIs, integrate AWS services, and ensure the reliability and performance of distributed systems across several flagship projects.


Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js and Express.
  • Build and optimize APIs to support a multi-application ecosystem.
  • Leverage AWS services (Lambda, Amplify, Cognito, S3, DynamoDB, Rekognition, Transcribe, Elastic Beanstalk, Bedrock, CloudFront, etc.) to build scalable, secure, and resilient solutions.
  • Work with Amazon Amplify to manage cloud infrastructure and deploy serverless functions.
  • Collaborate with frontend and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
  • Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and best‑practice sessions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance or scalability issues in production environments.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in backend or full‑stack development.
  • Proven hands‑on experience with AWS Cloud Services (especially Lambda, Amplify, Cognito, S3, DynamoDB, and CloudFront).
  • Strong proficiency in Node.js and Express.
  • Solid understanding of API design, scalability, and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with Amazon Amplify for infrastructure and app deployment.
  • Strong debugging and problem‑solving skills with a proactive mindset.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • English proficiency.


Nice To Have

  • Experience with .NET Framework 4.8, ASP.NET, IIS, and SQL Server.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML AWS tools such as Bedrock, Rekognition, or Transcribe.
  • Familiarity with frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or similar).
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), or DevOps tools.
