About the Position


We are looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in Node.js to join our team supporting a leading fintech client. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, embraces continuous learning, and excels at building scalable, distributed applications. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality backend solutions and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive impactful results.


Responsibilities

  • Design and implement reusable and maintainable software components.
  • Propose architectural improvements to ensure stability, resilience, and scalability.
  • Develop backend solutions that support future feature integration.
  • Perform code reviews and uphold best engineering practices.
  • Collaborate with the team to align on objectives and coordinate tasks.
  • Share knowledge and provide support to peers to foster team growth.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • 5+ years of experience with software testing and various databases.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies, including SCRUM and KANBAN.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Git, GitLab, Visual Studio Code, Postman, VirtualBox, and command line.
  • 3+ years of experience with AWS services.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation, SAM, or Serverless Framework.
  • Advanced English communication skills.

Nice To Have

  • Experience working in fintech environments.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
