About the Position

We are looking for a Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer to join our team and help design, optimize, and scale highly available cloud-native systems. The ideal candidate has deep experience with Kubernetes, AWS, and networking, and enjoys working in distributed, performance-driven environments. You’ll play a key role in ensuring scalability, cost efficiency, and operational excellence across our clients’ cloud infrastructure.


Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure using Kubernetes and AWS (EKS, EC2, networking, GPU instances).
  • Lead optimization initiatives for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency across environments.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
  • Oversee multi-cloud or hybrid setups (on-prem + cloud), ensuring security, consistency, and interoperability.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams working in Python and TypeScript/Node.js ecosystems.
  • Implement and manage observability, monitoring, and logging solutions (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, etc.).
  • Build sandboxed environments for user-defined workloads and ensure proper isolation of distributed systems.
  • Track cloud costs, integrate billing systems, and provide ROI insights to optimize infrastructure spending.
  • Document cloud architecture decisions and best practices, and guide teams on scalable system design.
  • Participate in extended-hour coverage and support strategies across multiple time zones.


Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure or DevOps roles.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Kubernetes (scaling, cost optimization, cluster management).
  • Proven experience with AWS (EKS, EC2, networking, IAM, GPU instances, billing).
  • Strong background in Linux administration and networking fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in Python and TypeScript/Node.js environments.
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems, isolation, and fault tolerance.
  • Knowledge of monitoring, observability, and logging frameworks (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK).
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills with the ability to advise on architectural decisions.


Nice to Have

  • Experience with GPU orchestration, AI/ML workloads, or data-centric pipelines.
  • Familiarity with alternative cloud providers (e.g., Thunder Compute, GPU-optimized clouds).
  • Background in cost monitoring and billing automation at scale.
