About the Position  

We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer with advanced proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript to join our remote team in LATAM. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with the Playwright framework and a deep understanding of object-oriented programming and test automation best practices.


Responsibilities  

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using the Playwright framework.  
  • Apply data-driven testing methodologies to ensure robust test coverage.  
  • Utilize a Page Object Model (POM) design approach to create scalable and maintainable test frameworks.  
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure alignment on test strategies and quality objectives.  
  • Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and/or Azure DevOps.  
  • Write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.  


Requirements  

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with the Playwright testing framework.  
  • Advanced proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.  
  • Strong understanding of asynchronous programming.  
  • Solid grasp of TypeScript fundamentals and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.  
  • Experience designing and implementing POM-based automation frameworks.  
  • Proficiency in data-driven testing techniques.  
  • Experience working with GitHub Actions and/or Azure DevOps.  
  • Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.  
  • Based in Latin America with availability to work remotely.  


Nice To Have  

  • Experience in other test automation tools or frameworks.  
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.  
  • Background in QA for web applications with complex UI/UX flows.
