About the Position

We are seeking a for a highly experienced Senior Manual QA to join our team. This role requires a professional with a strong background in backend testing, a proactive attitude, and excellent communication skills to collaborate across teams. Experience in the Fintech industry is essential, while knowledge of alternative forms of payment and expertise in Performance Testing are valuable pluses. The candidate will contribute to delivering robust, scalable, and efficient solutions used by airline companies.


Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, prioritize, and execute tests.
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and define test coverage.
  • Perform comprehensive backend testing, focusing on REST APIs and database validation.
  • Validate functional and non-functional requirements, including performance testing, to ensure scalability and robustness.
  • Conduct Regression Testing and coordinate User Acceptance Testing.
  • Identify, document, and report bugs with precision and clarity.
  • Communicate testing results effectively, both in meetings and through detailed test result documents.
  • Participate in refinements, planning, demos, and retrospective meetings.
  • Conduct risk assessments and root cause analyses.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional experience in the Testing field, with a strong focus on backend testing.
  • Proven expertise in REST API testing and Database validation.
  • Background in the Fintech industry.
  • Deep expertise in Agile frameworks, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Proficiency in QA tools and processes, with a comprehensive understanding of the SDLC.
  • Experience collaborating effectively with geographically distributed remote teams.
  • Strong communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving approach.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • B2/C1 English level: strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with international teams.


Nice to Have

  • Experience with the testing of Alternative Forms of Payments.
  • Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, K6, and BlazeMeter.
