About the Position

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will support the delivery of scalable, reliable, and high-performing software solutions that multiply business results and drive growth. This role is focused on implementing Quality Engineering best practices, including automated testing frameworks and effective processes, to ensure consistent and measurable value across products and platforms.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle, contributing to outstanding product quality and enabling quality at scale.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and design, to understand requirements, provide input on testability, and align QA efforts with product goals.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans for both manual and automated testing solutions.
  • Participate actively in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives to ensure alignment and continuous process improvement.
  • Identify potential risks associated with new releases and proactively address quality concerns.
  • Test holistically, developing both deep and broad product understanding to uncover potential issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools.
  • Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the QA team and across cross-functional partners.
  • Drive the adoption of best practices in test automation and continuous integration.
  • Establish and maintain Quality Engineering processes, best practices, and quality metrics to measure and report on product quality across the portfolio.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance and test engineering, including manual and automated testing of web UI, APIs, and databases.
  • Strong expertise in developing and executing test plans, test cases, and integrating test automation into development workflows.
  • Ability to work with a high level of autonomy and self-direction while partnering effectively with product, engineering, and design teams.
  • Advanced experience using JavaScript and TypeScript for test automation.
  • Substantial hands-on experience with industry-standard test automation frameworks and tools such as Playwright and WebdriverIO.
  • Proficiency in repository management best practices using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
  • Hands-on experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or equivalent platforms (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Experience testing products across all stages of maturity, from MVP to enterprise-level systems.
  • Strong understanding of build and release management best practices.
  • Client-focused mindset with excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
