About the Role
We are seeking a talented Data Engineer with strong experience in data migrations and data modeling to join a product development team.
In this role, you will collaborate with engineers to design and execute complex data migrations between systems while building production-grade data pipelines, APIs, and data management tools. You will operate in an agile environment and contribute across the full lifecycle—from design and deployment to testing, monitoring, and ongoing support.
This position is ideal for engineers who are passionate about delivering reliable data systems and ensuring data accuracy, quality, and maintainability across environments.
Key Responsibilities
Data Migration & Integration
- Design, build, and execute data migrations between systems
- Perform data mapping, transformation, validation, and reconciliation
- Ensure data accuracy and completeness across multiple environments
- Analyze source and target schemas to identify and resolve data quality issues
Data Pipelines & Engineering
- Develop production-grade data pipelines using Python
- Build scripts and services for data movement and validation
- Develop APIs and data management tools supporting product initiatives
- Model data structures to support scalable application development
Engineering Practices & Delivery
- Support the full lifecycle of data solutions: design, deployment, testing, monitoring, and operations
- Contribute to continuous delivery and automated pipeline deployment processes
- Apply best practices in security, testing, performance optimization, and REST/JSON-based services
- Maintain code and data projects using Git and distributed version control systems
- Collaborate with engineers in an agile product development environment
Required Qualifications
Experience
- 5+ years of experience delivering production-grade data engineering solutions
- Minimum 3 years of experience in data-focused roles such as Data Engineering or Data Science
- Experience delivering and maintaining production data migrations and data pipelines
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in Python, with experience building production pipelines
- Experience developing scripts or services for data movement and validation
- Solid experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Strong expertise with SQL Server and MongoDB
- Experience modeling data, writing complex queries, and resolving data quality issues
Tools & Platforms
- Experience with the Azure data stack (Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Microsoft Fabric, Tabular Models/DAX) or comparable technologies
- Experience using Git/GitHub for version control
- Familiarity with automated pipeline deployment and schema management in production environments
- Experience working in agile environments and applying continuous delivery practices
Education
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
