About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Tech Lead Backend Developer (.NET / Azure) to join a distributed engineering team building secure, scalable SaaS solutions.

In this role, you will design and maintain backend services using modern .NET technologies integrated with Azure cloud services. You will contribute to secure file handling workflows, audit logging systems, identity integration, and multi-tenant SaaS architectures.

This position is ideal for engineers who care about clean architecture, secure API design, and building cloud-native systems that meet enterprise-grade compliance standards.


Responsibilities

Backend Development

  • Build and maintain backend services using .NET 6/7 and C#
  • Develop RESTful APIs and services supporting multi-tenant SaaS architectures
  • Implement business logic for secure file handling, notifications, and audit logging
  • Ensure smooth integration and data flow between backend services and frontend applications

Cloud & Infrastructure Integration

  • Integrate backend services with Azure App Services, Azure SQL, Blob Storage, and Service Bus/Queues
  • Support identity and access integration with Entra ID and Azure AD B2B
  • Ensure secure authentication and authorization flows using JWT, OAuth, and OpenID Connect
  • Implement logging, monitoring, and observability using Application Insights and Log Analytics

Security & Compliance

  • Ensure backend systems comply with company security, audit, and compliance standards
  • Apply secure API design principles and best practices
  • Contribute to identity management and access control strategies
  • Participate in code reviews and enforce secure development standards

Collaboration & Delivery

  • Collaborate closely with frontend developers to ensure seamless end-to-end functionality
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
  • Participate in architectural discussions and technical decision-making
  • Support continuous improvement and maintainability of backend systems


Requirements

Technical Skills

  • Strong experience with .NET Core 6/7 and C#
  • Hands-on experience with Azure services (App Services, Azure SQL, Blob Storage, Service Bus/Queues)
  • Knowledge of authentication and authorization flows (Entra ID, Azure AD B2B)
  • Experience designing secure APIs (JWT, OAuth, OpenID Connect)
  • Familiarity with SaaS and multi-tenant architecture patterns
  • Experience with logging and monitoring tools (Application Insights, Log Analytics)

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience working in regulated or security-focused environments
  • Familiarity with distributed systems design
  • Exposure to DevOps or infrastructure-as-code practices
