About the Position
We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring product quality through a combination of test strategy, automation, and quality engineering best practices. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and designers to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-performing software solutions while fostering a culture of quality across the organization.
Responsibilities
Product Quality & Testing
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and design teams to understand requirements and ensure testability.
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test strategies.
- Design, execute, and maintain both manual and automated test cases.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using established tools and processes.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
- Perform holistic testing across web applications, APIs, and databases to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Proactively identify quality risks associated with new releases and product changes.
Quality Engineering & Automation
- Drive adoption of quality engineering best practices across development teams.
- Promote and expand automated testing frameworks and continuous integration processes.
- Establish and maintain quality metrics, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms to measure product quality.
- Contribute to the evolution of QA processes and testing standards.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality ownership throughout the organization.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, or SDET roles.
- Strong experience testing web applications, APIs, and databases using both manual and automated testing approaches.
- Proven experience developing and maintaining automated test frameworks.
- Advanced knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript for test automation.
- Hands-on experience with modern automation frameworks such as Playwright and WebdriverIO.
- Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, testing methodologies, and release management practices.
- Experience using Azure DevOps or similar tools for source control, test management, and pipeline automation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
- Experience working with products across different stages of maturity, from MVP to enterprise-scale solutions.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, client-focused mindset.
- Ability to work autonomously while partnering effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Experience establishing quality metrics and engineering standards across multiple teams or products.
- Previous experience mentoring QA engineers and promoting quality engineering practices.
