About the Position

The Senior Web Developer builds and maintains the web portal using React Native for Web, delivering a unified branded experience that shares a codebase with the mobile application. This engineer focuses on the enrollment flow, Tracker interface, and the broader web experience for the different Wallet tiers—ensuring seamless, accessible interactions designed for rapid user adoption.


Responsibilities

• Develop the web portal using React Native for Web from a shared codebase with the mobile app.

• Build and optimize the '3-click/30-second' enrollment flow in close collaboration with the UX/UI Designer.

• Implement Wallet user flows across the web platform.

• Integrate with backend Java/Spring Boot APIs for real-time paycheck data, account management, and transaction history.

• Ensure responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility standards are met.

• Collaborate with the Senior Mobile Developer to maintain codebase consistency and feature parity.

• Write unit and component-level tests; support QA engineers in identifying and resolving UI defects.

• Optimize web performance for fast initial load and smooth interactions in financial dashboard contexts.


Requirements

• 5+ years of frontend development experience, including 2+ years with React or React Native for Web.

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs in a React environment.

• Solid understanding of component architecture, state management (Redux, Context API, or equivalent), and performance optimization.

• Familiarity with cross-platform development patterns and shared codebase strategies.

• Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams with Jira or similar project tracking.

• Strong eye for UI detail; ability to implement pixel-accurate designs from Figma or equivalent tools.


Nice to Have

• Experience building fintech or banking web applications.

• Familiarity with multi-channel notification systems (SMS, push, RCS).

• Exposure to accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) in financial services contexts.
