About the Position
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and play a key role in designing, building, and operating scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure. This position will be responsible for managing AWS environments, implementing infrastructure-as-code practices, and developing CI/CD pipelines that enable efficient software delivery across the organization. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in cloud-native technologies, automation, and security best practices, and is comfortable working in highly regulated environments. Working closely with Engineering, QA, and Product teams, this individual will help ensure the stability, scalability, and compliance of mission-critical systems while supporting a fast-paced development lifecycle.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering, including at least 3 years working extensively with AWS.
- Strong hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, or similar.
- Proven expertise implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, or equivalent technologies.
- Deep knowledge of AWS services, including ECS/EKS, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, S3, SQS, and related cloud-native services.
- Experience managing containerized environments using Docker and orchestration platforms such as ECS and/or Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of AWS networking concepts, including VPCs, load balancers, security groups, routing, and private subnet architectures.
- Experience securing cloud infrastructure in regulated environments, including PCI-DSS, SOC 2, or similar compliance frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with secrets management solutions such as AWS Secrets Manager, HashiCorp Vault, or equivalent tools.
- Experience implementing monitoring, alerting, logging, and incident response processes for production environments.
- Strong understanding of security best practices, access controls, network segmentation, and infrastructure reliability.
- Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience working within fintech, banking, payments, or other highly regulated industries.
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional or other relevant AWS certifications.
- Experience supporting mobile application build and release pipelines for iOS and Android.
- Familiarity with mobile CI/CD tools such as Fastlane, Bitrise, App Center, or similar platforms.
- Experience collaborating closely with QA teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD workflows.
- Exposure to high-availability, mission-critical systems with strict security and compliance requirements.
