About the Position

We are looking for a skilled SemiSenior Android Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of high-quality mobile applications. In this role, you will build modern, declarative user interfaces using Jetpack Compose and Kotlin, while applying clean architecture principles to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams, owning features end-to-end, from implementation and testing to CI/CD pipeline integration, ensuring that code quality and performance remain top priorities throughout the development lifecycle.


Responsibilities

  • Developing native Android applications using Kotlin, leveraging coroutines and Flow for robust asynchronous programming.
  • Building declarative and responsive user interfaces with Jetpack Compose following best practices.
  • Implementing and maintaining scalable architectures based on MVVM/MVI patterns and Clean Architecture principles, including multi-module project structures.
  • Managing dependency injection using Dagger Hilt across the application.
  • Integrating REST APIs using Retrofit and OkHttp, including proper JSON parsing and error handling.
  • Writing and maintaining unit tests using JUnit and Mockk to ensure code correctness and reliability.
  • Applying static code analysis tools (ktlint, Detekt, SonarQube) and coverage reporting (Jacoco) to maintain high code quality standards.
  • Profiling application performance and optimizing memory usage using available Android development and debugging tools.
  • Managing Git workflows effectively and contributing to multi-module Gradle build configurations.
  • Configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, Bitrise) to support continuous delivery.
  • Solving complex technical challenges autonomously, driving features from requirements to production.

Requirements

  • Fluent proficiency in Kotlin, including coroutines and Flow for asynchronous programming.
  • Hands-on experience building UIs with Jetpack Compose.
  • Strong command of MVVM and/or MVI architecture patterns, aligned with Google's recommendations for Android development.
  • Experience working with Clean Architecture in decoupled, scalable, and multi-module Android projects.
  • Proficiency with Dagger/Hilt for dependency injection.
  • Experience integrating REST APIs using Retrofit and OkHttp, including JSON handling.
  • Ability to write unit tests with JUnit and Mockk.
  • Experience with static code analysis tools such as ktlint, Detekt, and SonarQube, and familiarity with coverage reporting via Jacoco.
  • Knowledge of Android performance profiling, memory analysis, and debugging tools.
  • Strong Git workflow practices and experience with multi-module Gradle build configurations.
  • Experience maintaining or configuring CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI or Bitrise).
  • Ability to independently resolve complex, end-to-end technical tasks.
  • Experience using AI-powered coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to accelerate development and testing workflows.
