Today we’d like to introduce Mallory, our Revenue Operations Manager!

Introduce yourself, your background/expertise, and your position at Distillery.

I’m Mallory and I’ve been at Distillery for about 5 months now. Ever since my first internship in college, I’ve worked in the Sales Operations/Revenue Operations space. I find that by working in Revenue Operations, you’re not siloed to one area of the business: you get to work with all of the different teams to help ensure that the company is working together and efficiently. At Distillery, I am continuing to do just that– I work alongside a fantastic marketing, finance, and sales team to help capture and analyze data to make strategic, data-driven decisions.

What attracted you to Distillery?

There were a few things I was looking for during the job hunt: a good “product,” a successful company, and an energetic, friendly team. During the interview process, I found that Distillery offered all of those things. Above all, I knew that I wanted to work for and learn from someone like my manager and CRO, Gregg Wheeler. He was (and is!) working hard to make Distillery even better every day, and I knew I wanted to join him in that task!

How do you embody the “Never Settle” spirit in your daily work at Distillery?

I am surrounded by a bunch of hardworking people. Because of that, I am constantly motivated to be the best version of myself and show up and provide 110% of what I can offer every day. It makes “Never Settl[ing]” very easy!

How do you foster authentic connections with your colleagues and clients at Distillery? 🤝

It’s definitely hard in the remote world!! But I always try to ask a few personal questions at the beginning of small meetings to get to know people better.

What are you passionate about outside of work?

I teach reformer pilates on the side! I am absolutely obsessed with all things pilates. Because working from home can often be isolating, I find that by teaching, I am able to fill that social interaction bucket on a weekly basis. I absolutely love it.

If you could sum up your experience at Distillery in one hashtag, what would it be?
#onwardsandupwards

What’s your favorite way to celebrate a big win or accomplishment?

I love going out to dinner with my husband and trying a new spot. A cosmo or dirty martini is almost always involved in celebrations!

What are some skills or topics you’re learning about right now?

I have felt like I’ve reached a plateau of Excel knowledge so I’ve been watching some Youtube videos recently so that I can expand my formula knowledge!

If you could have one superpower to help you at work, what would it be and why?

Because I’m on this Excel kick, I wish I knew every formula by heart and how it worked.

What’s your favorite “keep pushing forward” song that gets you pumped up and motivated?

Not a song in particular, but if I need to focus and get some stuff done, I always put on Rolling Stones Radio on Spotify and it always puts me in a happy mood to get stuff done!

What’s your go-to stress-busting activity when you need a break from work?

Pilates, always!! Or a nice walk with my Husband and dogs.

When it comes to emojis, which one would you choose when a Distiller tells you a successful moment or gives you good news?
